Where does the Wave movement come from?
Wave was born in Switzerland, in Oron-la-Ville, within the Gospel Center. The idea: to offer a simple, peaceful space to pray together, every day.
Is Wave free?
Yes, Wave offers a free plan with the essentials to start praying. Premium, Pro, and Community plans are available to unlock more features.
On which platforms is Wave available?
Wave is available on the web, iOS, and Android. You can pray wherever you are.

Movements (prayer spaces)

What is a movement?
A movement is a prayer space. It's the central unit in Wave: you write your prayer topics, share them, and pray together.
What types of movements exist?

There are four types of movements:

  • Secret place (personal): Your private prayer journal. Only you can see it.
  • Prayer group (private): An invite-only space to pray with friends, family, or a small group.
  • Broadcast channel (public): An open space where others can follow you and discover your prayer topics.
  • Community: A shared space that gathers several movements around the same church, ministry, or organization.
Can I join multiple movements?
Yes. Free plan: up to 4 movements. Premium: up to 20. Pro: up to 40. Community: up to 100.

Communities and churches

What is a community?
A community brings your church or organization together on Wave. It groups multiple movements under one roof. Requires a Community plan.
How do I connect my church to Wave?
Create a community from the app, then invite your members. You can then organize your prayer movements within your community.
How do prayer requests work?
Members can share their prayer requests with everyone, or choose to send them privately to leaders only. Each person decides the level of visibility that suits them.

Plans and pricing

What are the differences between the 4 plans?

Wave offers four plans tailored to your needs:

  • Free: Up to 4 movements, 5 members per movement, private groups only.
  • Premium (7 CHF/month or 5 CHF/month yearly): Up to 20 movements, 15 members per private movement, prayer plans, chat, prayer requests, PDF export, personal logbook. 14-day free trial.
  • Pro (16 CHF/month or 12 CHF/month yearly): Up to 40 movements, 40 members per private movement, Premium features included, public ministries, ministry administration, readable web link.
  • Community (from 35 CHF/month): Premium features + community creation, up to 1000 members, shared logbook, priority support.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, the Premium plan includes a 14-day free trial. You can explore all features with no commitment.
How does Community pricing work?
The Community plan is based on member capacity: 50, 150, 400, or 1000 members. Prices range from 35 CHF/month to 220 CHF/month, with discounts for yearly billing.

How does the prayer notebook work?
Write down your prayer topics, track their progress, and see God at work over time. It's your personal space to keep a record of your prayers.
What is the logbook?
The logbook is a space to note what God is doing in your life or community. Available as a personal logbook (Premium) or shared logbook (Community).
What is the Hub (chat)?
The Hub is a real-time chat space within a movement, to stay connected with fellow members. Available with Premium, Pro, and Community plans.
Can I export my prayer data?
Yes, you can export your prayer topics as PDF with a Premium, Pro, or Community plan.

Account

How do I create an account?
Download the app or go to the web version and sign up with your email address.
How do I delete my account?
Go to the account deletion page on wavepray.com or contact us directly.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your data is encrypted and secured. See our privacy policy for more details.
